John Cook (Retiring)

John is the Director of Operations of SGS’s Grouting Division where he oversees day to day operations with his team of estimators and grouting crews. With 44 years of experience, he ensures that clients receive an honest, straight-forward diagnosis along with methods and strategies to resolve their problems. John worked in the field as a crew chief for 6 years before transferring to the office and has acquired many vendor certifications, giving him the knowledge to apply the proper product and procedures for your grouting needs. His experience includes all aspects of pressure grouting with below-grade chemical grouting, cement grouting, soil grouting and epoxy injection being his specialties. Over the years, John has been proud to share his knowledge with his estimators and field technicians, helping to make SGS the reputable company it is today. John enjoys doo-wop music, old movie classics and good food. When John retires, he plans to get back into vegetable gardening and catching up with old friends.
